Resetting the HP LaserJet printersReset the printer (cold reset) to return printer to initial factory setting.Reset NVRAM to restore the number of printed pages to zero.Change settings from a service mode.Reset HP LaserJet 4000, 4100, 5Si, 8000 and similar modelsTurn the printer off and then hit the “GO ONLINE” while powering the printer.Reset HP LaserJet 2300, 2400, 4200, 4250, 4350, 4300 and similar modelsTurn the printer off and then turn it on. When the printer is started, while counting thememory, hold down the “CHECKMARK” button until the main LEDs are not shone. Let go“CHECKMARK” button, with arrow keys (up and down) select "Cold Reset" option and thenpress the “CHECKMARK” button again.HP LaserJet 1100, 1200While the printer is turned on hold the “GO” button for 5 seconds.To reset NVRAM, turn off the printer and hold down the “GO” button for 20 seconds whilepowering the printer.HP LaserJet 2100Turn the printer off and hold the “JOB CANCEL” button while powering the printer until allLEDs are not shone. Keep “JOB CANCEL” button pressed within 20 seconds to cold reset theprinter, or longer to reset the NVRAM.HP LaserJet 2200Turn the printer off and hold the “GO” key until the “ATTENTION” light starts to flash. Printerindicator lights will begin to flash until the process of resetting is completed.To reset NVRAM turn off printer and hold down the “GO” button until “ATTENTION”, “READY”and “GO” lights start to flash.
