  3. 3. INTRODUCTION Any injury which is cause by the guilty mind further its give rise to an offence . As for every offence Indian Penal Code 1860 having punishment no one can sit silent after any offence because Indian penal Code won’t let sit peacefully.
  4. 4. MEANING OF TERMS COVERED Whoever causes bodily pain , disease or infirmity to any person is said to cause HURT
  5. 5. DEFINITION OF OFFENCES Grievous hurt ::::: The following kinds of hurts only are designated as grievous:- 1. Emasculation. 2. Permanent privation of the sight of either eye. 3. Permanent privation of the hearing of either ear. 4. Privation of any member or joint. 5. Destruction of permanent impairing of the powers of any member of joint. 6. Permanent disfiguration of the head or face. 7. Fracture or dislocation of a bone or tooth. 8. Any hurt which endangers life or which cause the suffer to be during the space of twenty days in servere bodily pain ,or unable to follow his ordinary
  6. 6. VOLUNTARILY OFFENCE  Causing hurt .  Causing grievous hurt .  Hurt by dangerous weapon.  Hurt to extort property.  Hurt by means of poison.  Hurt deter public servant from duty.  Hurt on provocation. Act Endangering of life

PUNISHMENT SECTI ON OFFENCE PUNISHMENT S 323 voluntary causing hurt Imprisonment for 1 year, 1,000 RS fine , or with both S 324 Voluntary causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means Imprisonment for 3 years, fine, or with both. S 325 Voluntary hurt causing grievous hurt Imprisonment for 7 years, fine.
  8. 8. PUNISHMENT SECTION OFFENCE PUNISHMENT S 327 Voluntary causing hurt to extort property, or to constrain to an illegal act Imprisonment for 10 years and fine. S 328 Causing hurt by mean of poison, etc., with intent to commit an offence Imprisonment for 10 years and fine. S 329 Voluntary causing grievous hurt to extort property, or to constrain to an illegal act Imprisonment for life or imprisonment for 10 year and fine S 330 Voluntary causing hurt to extort confession, or to compel restoration of Imprisonment for 7 year, and fine

PUNISHMENT SECTION OFFENCE PUNISHMENT S 336 Act endangering life or personal safety of other Imprisonment for 3 months, or fine 250 RS, or with both., S 337 Causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of other Imprisonment for 6 month , or fine of 500 RS, or with both., S 338 Causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of other Imprisonment for 2 years, or fine of 1000 RS, or with both.,
  11. 11. OBJECTIVE The main objective is to save people from hurt & get protection against the attack which is done by the offender . So that victim can have support of Indian Penal Code against his/her injuries.
  12. 12. MERITS  One of best method to take revenge is to hurt some one but according to IPC 1860 now people think twice before attempting offence.  Person who got grievous hurt by other person , other person having guilty mind, can appeal to court for justices .
  13. 13. DEMERITS  Disease transmitted by the person.  Not having clear idea of punishment disease transmitted by the person.  Which all disease we include .
  14. 14. SUGGESTION As grievous hurt can lead to attempt to murder person can lose his/her life by just dangerous hurt so the offence which leads to this death of life for that a separate section should be provided.
  15. 15. CONCLUSION So Punishments of HURT is just like Newton third law which states that “every action have an equal and opposite reaction “ mean if today you are injuring somebody with guilty mind tomorrow he can file case against you and get relief of what you had given to him.
