Using 3D simulation to create realistic virtual prototypes, 3DCS is an excellent tool for dimensional analysis and tolerance analysis. By reducing variation in the design phase and testing assembly processes, many expensive issues in the product life cycle (PLM) can be removed before building any physical parts.
