Bucket Flower Pot Craft

  1. 1. Create A Craft With: Bucket Flower Pot Craft
  2. 2. Great Craft for Kids! <ul><li>This is a great springtime craft for children. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Materials needed: <ul><li>Foam flower & leaf shapes in various colors & sizes </li></ul><ul><li>1-2 7/8” tall galvanized bucket </li></ul><ul><li>1-1 15/16” x 2 7/8” round Styrofoam floral piece </li></ul><ul><li>1 gift tag </li></ul><ul><li>27” long piece of ribbon </li></ul><ul><li>6 pieces of floral wire </li></ul><ul><li>Glue gun </li></ul><ul><li>Colored paper shreds </li></ul><ul><li>Hole punch </li></ul><ul><li>Newspaper </li></ul>Let's Get Started!
  4. 4. Step 1 <ul><li>Cover work area with newspaper to protect area from spills. </li></ul><ul><li>Place round Styrofoam piece into bucket. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Step 2 <ul><li>Take two flower shapes and glue them together. </li></ul><ul><li>Repeat this process until you have six flowers. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Step 3 <ul><li>Wrap ribbon around the rim of your bucket. </li></ul><ul><li>Run ribbon through handle so it will stay in place. </li></ul><ul><li>Tie bow in the front. </li></ul><ul><li>Trim ends if necessary. But leave ribbon long enough to tie on gift tag. </li></ul>
  7. 7. Step 4 <ul><li>Arrange floral wire pieces in the Styrofoam for the stems of the flowers. </li></ul>
  8. 8. Step 5 <ul><li>Glue the leaves onto the wire stems. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Be sure to leave room for the flowers to be attached. </li></ul></ul>
  9. 9. Step 6 <ul><li>Glue flowers to the tops of the stems. </li></ul><ul><li>Press flowers firmly into place while gluing. </li></ul>
  10. 10. Step 7 <ul><li>Decorate your gift tag in anyway that you see fit. </li></ul>
  11. 11. Step 8 <ul><li>Using a hole punch, punch a hole through your gift tag. </li></ul><ul><li>Tie onto bucket using the strands of ribbon from bow. </li></ul>
  12. 12. <ul><li>This craft is a great way to share some time with your child, grandchild, niece, and/or nephew. Children love creating stuff, especially when they can do it with the people the love.
