  2. 2. Cooking Food: The Different Methods The way you prepare your food can be done through several methods. Of course, the food that you serve should be cooked in a way your consumers would want it or depending on the meal that you are going to prepare. You can bake food, steam it, or grill it – everything actually depends on your cooking preference and the food choices of the people that you are going to serve the meal to. Just remember to make the best results in order to please the people eating your food. Below is a list of cuisine cooking methods that would help a lot in your cooking task.
  3. 3. Cooking Food – Baking Cooking food through baking is done in an oven. Typically, the temperature of the oven ranges from 300 to 450 Fahrenheit. Cakes, pastries, or anything prepared with a batter is usually cooked through the oven. However, there are some meals which can also be baked such as casseroles, few fruits and vegetables, and some meats. Baking needs to be practiced well in order to perfect your food. One needs to be well equipped with both experience and skills if you want to try baking.
  4. 4. Cooking Food – Roasting Cooking food through roasting is done through uncovered hot air. Usually, this type of cooking is done on meats to make it more tender and juicy. Typically, the leg of a lamb or the turkey is placed on a rack of a shallow pan to get it cooked. The temperature used in roasting is almost similar to the degree of temperature used in baking. However the results are not the same as cooking food through roasting because everything is done in an uncovered manner.
  5. 5. Cooking Food – Broiling And Grilling Cooking food through the application of direct heat is called grilling or broiling. Under a continuous flow of heat, the food is being cooked and tenderized. With broiling, you have to leave it slightly uncovered to prevent the pan from becoming too hot and damaging the food instead. Grilling should be carefully watched out or you may end up getting burned meat instead of a perfectly grilled one.
  6. 6. Cooking Food – Frying In cooking food, frying is perhaps the safest method to do especially if your oil and flame is regulated the right way. Your meal can become perfectly fried if you know when to dip the meat in the hot oil. You also have to watch it from time to time in order to get the right fried food that you want.
  7. 7. Cooking Food – Steaming Cooking food can also be done through steaming. Usually, cooks have special steamers to come up with a perfectly steamed meat. Steaming us typically done on fish and vegetables to retain color and taste on them. Steaming is also a very healthy way to prepare food compared to deep frying and grilling.
