SCTR Proposal Pricing</li></ul>843.792.8300 <br />http://sctr.musc.edu <br />success@musc.edu<br /> The “Front Door” for <br />Research Support<br />Intake<br />or<br />Online Request <br />Form<br />At SCTR’s SUCCESS Center <br />(Support Center for Clinical and Translational Science), <br />Investigators, coordinators, and other research personnel can receive guidance, obtain training, and referrals/linkages to other research services from experienced research professionals within a one-stop, research support shop.<br />

MAP-R: MUSC Approval Plan for Research<br />MUSC Approval Plan for Research (MAP-R)<br />An online, algorithm based system of approximately 16 questions designed to generate a customized list of required regulatory approvals and research trainings based on the Investigator’s answers pertaining to a particular research study. <br />Questions related to human subject and vertebrate animal research.<br />Guidance, for each question asked, is provided to assist the investigator in making the correct selection.<br />Who, What, When, Where, and How “informational sheets” are provided to explain the process for each regulatory approval application and training requirement.<br />At the end, the customized map links directly to the required applications & training programs needed to successfully launch the study.<br />
  9. 9. Research Toolkit<br />Research Tool Kit: https://sctrweb2.musc.edu/research_toolkit<br />This resource was developed to assist research personnel in navigating the research enterprise. The Toolkit addresses the steps involved with submitting, conducting, closing and disseminating results of a research study, and includes links to institutional, state, and federal resources and regulations.<br />

  11. 11. Intuitive interface for data entry (with data validation)
  12. 12. Includes audit trails for tracking data manipulation
  13. 13. Automated export procedures for seamless data downloads to common statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, Stata, R)

For more information: http://sctrinstitute.org/redcap </li></li></ul><li>SCTR Translational Assistance and Review (STAR) Consultations<br /><ul><li>Target Audience: </li></ul>Pilot project applicants with promising but unfunded proposals.<br />All investigators at MUSC and collaborative Institutions<br /><ul><li>Service Goal: To advise investigators on some aspects of clinical and translational research from conception to funding to implementation .</li></ul>Enhancement of overall scientific quality, merit and feasibility of proposals by consultation with team of applicable experts<br />Provision of assistance with identification, planning and proposal review for extramural grant(s) application(s), including SBIR/STTR<br />Pre-clinical and clinical study design development, review and evaluation<br />Regulatory approval strategy and implementation development, review and evaluation<br />Serve as resource and liaison between researchers and Foundation of Research Development (AKA: Tech Transfer Office).<br />
