FADE IN
EXT. THE AUNTS HOUSE – DAY
In the heart of Surrey, South East England, an Establishing
shot of the aunt’s home to give the audience a sense of the
surroundings and its isolation.
CUT TO:
INT. EVE’S BEDROOM – DAY
Long shot, tracking the protagonist in her bedroom as she is
writing in her diary.
CUT TO:
INT. EVE’S BEDROOM – DAY
High angle, over the shoulder shot of Eve writing in her
diary. The handwriting is clearer and the audience is able to
see what is being written.
CUT TO:
INT. EVE’S BEDROOM – DAY
Extreme close up of what Eve is writing in her diary.
FADE TO:
INT. THE AUNTS HOUSE – DAY
Extreme close up of Eve’s eye looking through the peep hole of
the door.

2. Close up of Eve looking through the peephole, beginning to
show signs of becoming anxious.

High angle, long shot of Eve look through the peephole, her
anxiety begins to surface.

Mid shot of Eve sitting outside, looking into the distance.
She is mourning the loss of her parents.

Over the shoulder shot of Eve looking down into the lake at
her reflection.

Close up of a picture of her mother and father. Eve’s teardrop
falls onto the picture.

Mid shot showing a pull focus from the aunt on the phone to
Eve with her back against the door, overhearing the
conversation.

Over the shoulder shot of Eve and her aunt arguing about her
disorder.

Mid, two shot of Eve and her friend hugging and laughing
together.

Mid shot of Eve writing in her diary. This should match the
shots at the beginning of the piece to reflect the idea of the
diary entry coming to an end.

Extreme close up of Eve’s handwriting I her diary so what she
has written is clearly seen. This should match what is being
said in the voice over.
