The document provides steps for setting up and joining meetings using ChromeBox devices: 1. Meetings can only be set up and joined using Gmail accounts, as ChromeBox currently only supports Google Hangouts for meetings. 2. To start a meeting, power on the ChromeBox, enter a meeting name, and invite guests by providing their email addresses. 3. To join a meeting with a Gmail account, sign in and click the link in the meeting invite. To join without a Gmail account, create one by following the prompts on the login screen.

1. ChromeBox Meetings
As follows are the steps needed to setup and establish a meeting on our ChromeBox devices.
There are a few things that you must know before setting up a meeting. The first and most important
thing is that any recipient of an invite to your meeting must have a gmail email account. At this time the
ChromeBox only uses google hangouts to host meetings and conferences therefore you must have a
gmail account in order to attend or accept an invite.Next it is important that when you power the
Chrome Box on you launch to kiosk mode(by default, it will launch to kiosk mode automatically). This
will allow you to specify a meeting and send out invites as well.
To start a conference/hangout session you must:
Power on your chrome box device by pressing the power button located on the front left corner
of the device.
You will need to enter the name of your hangout in the box that says “Enter a Hangout name”.
-The name should be something unique to identify your meeting however it should not be
anything too complex.
Next you must invite guest to your meeting/hangout by selecting the invite icon located in the
ex. Below.
All you will need is the guests email address.

2. To connect to a hangout with your gmail account you will need to:
Sign into you gmail account and click on the link provided with in the invite. (If this is your first
time using google hangouts you will need to run the installer that launches.)
Once google hangouts has launched just click on the green button that says “join” and you will
be directed to the hangout session.
To connect to a hangout without having a gmail account you will need to:
Sign into to the email account that the invite was sent to.
Click on the link provided in the email. You will be directed to gmails log in screen.
Click on the option for create new account.
Fill out all of the required information to create a gmail account.
Once the account has been created you will need to click on the invite link provided in the
original email.
Now you can sign in with your new created gmail account. (Like before if you have not used
google hangouts you will be prompted to install the app. Run the installer and google hangouts
will launch once it has completed.)
Google hangouts will launch once the installer has completed. Click on the green button labeled
“join”.
