USAGE OF MOBILE COMPUTING <ul><li>First used in vehices . </li></ul><ul><li>Cell phones are another rampant proliferation of mobile computing today. </li></ul><ul><li>Every single cell phone is a computer in its own right. </li></ul><ul><li>Blue tooth and MMS has brought cell phone users closer . </li></ul>

Riding the Wireless Internet Revolution <ul><li>The number of Internet users over wireless links is expected to grow from 4 million today to over 58 million by the year 2006. </li></ul><ul><li>In the U.S. there will be 21.3 million mobile data users by the end of 2001. </li></ul><ul><li>In Japan, DoCoMo is adding roughly 1 million wireless Internet subscribers for each month. </li></ul>
