3. 3. death
In India about 5,00,000 deathsannually are attributed to Indoor Air Pollution.
(where 56% of all deaths are children under 5)
*Death of One woman or child per 20 sec is caused due to Smoke hazards.
*Source WHO
4. 4. smoke
Biomass burns on inefficient chulhas in poorly ventilated rooms.
Smoke contains harmful pollutants, such as Particulate Matter, Carbon Monoxide, Sulphur & Nitrogen Oxides and Hydrocarbons that can cause Cancer & Acute Respiratory Infections.
Women and children receive the highest exposure to biomass smoke.
5. 5. cooking environmental disaster ?
6. 6. pollution
Typical hut with open fire has 3000 mg/m3of particulate matter (PM10). That is 60 times the recommended outdoor air max concentrations of 50 mg/m3.
Blow Pipes used to fire “Firewood Chulhas” makes women inhale gases equivalent to smoking over 20 Cigarettes a day
It also causes Asthma, Lung Cancer, TB, Low Birth Weight and Blindness
7. 7. environmental hazards
Globally 2 Million ton per day or 730,000,000 ton of firewood is burned every year to cook.
Due to 30 % of Black Carbon & C02 emissions from domestic consumption of biomass fuels in Asia, Himalayan Glaciers would disappear in 30 years.
8. 8. deforestation
2,000,000 ton of firewood is burned everyday.
730,000,000 ton of firewood burned every year.
13 million hectares of the world’s forests are lost every year because of cutting of trees.
9. 9. you are affected
The Smoke from over 150 million Firewood stoves across India pollutes the entire country
Deforestation
Melting of Himalayan Glaciers
Drying up of Water Resources
Global warming
10. 10. we are making a
difference
11. 11. we are…
12. 12. we make…
13. 13. health & well-being
We can help save over 5,00,000 lives of women & girl child every year!
We can help Mothers take better care of their family & young girls spend more time on Education
We can help 150 Million Families have a better quality of life !
14. 14. environment
The use of JeevanJyoti stove saves Trees & minimizes Deforestation.
We can save 100 Million Treesevery year.
JeevanJyoti stoves reduce pollution & hence reduce Healthcare costs of the country.
Thus Increasing Productivity & hence GDP of the Country.
15. 15. 5 advantages
JeevanJyotiStove:
Saves up-to 50%Fuel
Reduces Emission up-to 80%
Saves up-to 50% time
Save Money
Retains Same taste
16. 16. cooking smiles
Over 120,000 Envirofit Cook Stoves are operational in India, impacting the lives of over 400,000 people!
These stoves have saved 80,000 ton of wood
The stoves have kept away 150,000 ton of CO2, 2000 ton of CO, and 30 ton of Black Carbon emissions from our environment.
We saved Time and Money previously wasted fetching fuel
Thousands of women and children have been spared the ravaging health impacts caused by breathing in cooking fire smoke.
17. 17. appeal
Come, join hands...

Ours is a long march, towards health and quality living of the society.
You, joining us will strengthen our mission.
Call us and spend an hour with our team...
you shall know more about our mission...
