Hundreds of people in Brisbane, Australia walked out of work and school on February 15th to protest against a visit by U.S. President George W. Bush. Protesters carried signs and chanted slogans against the Iraq war and Bush's policies. The protest was organized by an anti-war group to coincide with Bush's arrival in Australia on his way to an Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting in Thailand.
