Connex Uplift Program is the replacement of Connex Version 3.4b by the new v3.5a. As part of this project IAS sends a new field i.e. realisation status code and customer numbers in the existing field for collateral and charge security types in securities file. GDW to store these values in the base layer so that credit modeler’s team can access the values from there. IDM’s can also have an EBD bag side car to allow businesses to scan and deposit their EBD bags via the machine and a coin side cart attached for counting and processing coin deposits. The hardware of the IDM’s is the same as standard ATM but with deposit modules activated and withdrawal modules deactivated. This program is delivered over multiple releases and current IAP2.1 FTP (Funds transfer pricing) is uplifted from the preceding Direct Bank Release. Responsibility:

Issuers and Acquirers must make system changes to accommodate scheme process, product, authorisation and messaging changes. Responsibility: - Analysis of Requirement and Design Document - Speak to business finalize on the testing process - Test Data Creation - Test case Scripting, execution - Pushing transactions in FINSIM - Pushing transactions on Physical POS terminals - Verifying results in Connex Online - Verifying batch reports in Mainframes - Defect Management - Knowledge Management Anchor - UAT Onsite Coordinator Project 8: EHUB October’14 – February’14 The current EFTPOS network consists of a series of bilateral network connections between different participants for transaction processing and is unable to be easily and cost effectively changed as the payment card industry continues to evolve. ePAL (EFTPOS Payments Australia Limited) has committed to establishing a centralised hub (eHub) to eventually replace the current bilateral arrangements and support the implementation of Europay MasterCard and Visa (EMV) and contactless (PINless) capability on the EFTPOS network. This industry initiative is funded and in progress with early adopters expected to connect in mid-2014.
