OVERVIEW <ul><li>Renee Edwards. </li></ul><ul><li>I started school in 1995 in Georgia. </li></ul><ul><li>I graduated from high school in 2009 in West Virginia. </li></ul><ul><li>I first went to college at UH M ā noa in 2009. </li></ul><ul><li>When I finish my degree, I hope to become a high school math teacher as well as an elementary marine educator. </li></ul>
    3. 3. MY DEFINITION OF EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY Educational technology is the use of different types of technology in the classroom; not only to provide an alternative means to presenting/exploring information, but also to make our students more technologically literate in an advancing world.

COLLEGE TECHNOLOGY <ul><li>5 cell phones, 3 computers, and numerous gadgets later… </li></ul><ul><li>Able to access the internet from phone, computer, ipod, and tv </li></ul><ul><li>Fourth online course </li></ul><ul><li>90% of my non-online courses still ‘require’ use of internet and technology of some form. </li></ul>
