#1. NEXUS Project – Development Project

RWE-Npower is a leading UK gas and electricity supplier, which also has an in-house meter operator,
data collector and data aggregator. The NEXUS Project is new centralised Industry systems, changes to
market participant systems and changes to existing gas process methodology which affects every gas
meter point in the country.
Responsibilities:
Understanding the incoming data flows through various interfaces and doing data
analysis.
Interaction with different stakeholders for clarifications in term of requirements and
technical implementation approach.
Mapping the data of legacy system to new system using Oracle Database into
UNIX-AIX environment.
Translate functional requirement to technical specification document.
Involved in performing TSD review, code review and creation of standard design
template.
Involved in Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle-SQL configuration coding and performing
unit testing on adhoc basis.
Leading off-shore team to work based on the requirements and timely deadlines.

data collector and data aggregator. The Beryl system is the nPower billing application for SME (small
medium Enterprise) customers. Beryl performs the functions such as Credit & Collections, Rates,
Adjustments, Meter Assets, Meter Reading, Billing, Payments etc based on customer information.
Responsibilities:
Interacting with the client regarding data and functional requirements.
Working on resolving critical incidents and problem management incidents.
Taking active part in Change Management by automating the Beryl system wherever
required.
Fine tuning the Existing system to get better performance results.
Working on pl/sql so as to understand the backend and understand the flow of data.
Leading the team from Off-shore for all the maintenance activity.
3. #3. EFN324 (Access Node) - Maintenance Project

This is a maintenance project of Ericsson Account, which involves providing termination of residential
end-users, small offices/home offices, and small to medium enterprises, offering differentiated value-
added services in the network. EFN324 is a second-generation access product based on the latest
technology and standards, providing cost-effectiveness and scalability.
Responsibilities:
Involved in analysis and design of the access node(EFN324).
Involved in critical development of ipv6 implementation both in Unix Shell scripting,
erlang and assembly language.
Involved in fixing the trouble reports, change requests for the L2/L3 protocols
development.
Involved in Auto testing and performance testing for the EFN’s where EFN’s are attached
in RSTP setup.
