  2. 2. 2/5 Achievements at Bharat Oman Refineries Limited  Centralised the entire communication process and evolved the Communication Department as the single point contact for all external & internal communications  Worked closely with the senior management of the Company and BPCL team in conceiving, designing and implementing a high profile & spectacular event for the Inauguration of the Refinery at the hands of the honorable Prime Minister of India held on 20th May, 2011.  Held back a mob of striking labourers led by a Labour Union Leader from making forced entry into the Refinery premises; managed the situation by timely mobilization of government protection forces to control a large mob of stone throwing labourers; negotiated the release of an employee who was held hostage by a violent mob of labourers  Pacified & controlled a furious mob of 400+ labourers in the event of a serious accident at the project site  Succeeded in building rapport with the Media of Bina, Sagar, Bhopal, Jabalpur and Indore; neutralized the apprehensions and skepticism about the Company and the project amongst the local media  Succeeded in building rapport with the Administrative machinery at Bina, Sagar (Dist.
