3. INTRODUCTION
The modern trend in the teaching of science is
to emphasize students investigating activity as
an integral part of the instructional process.
Many programmers have been developed in an
attempt to investigate inquiry with science
instruction and to develop students inquiry
skills.
The scientific revolution which has been going
on in all parts of the world.

4. SCIENCE CLUB
The scientific and technological advancement of today is a long forward
journey from stone age.
 as we live in an age of science.
Each individual has his own interest, talents, and abilities. Even a progressive
syllabus fail to cater to the needs of each.
An organization which cater for the inculcation of scientific attitude, and a
genuine interest in science, and also can supplements the work of the classroom
and give the syllabus a practical dimensions may be called a SCIENCE CLUB .
Through activities of a science club, learning of science becomes joyful.

5. OBJECTIVES OF SCIENCE CLUB
To develop a general interest in science.
To develop interest in scientific hobbies.
To develop habits of exploration and creative
faculties.
To encourage individuals and group activities.
To develop in children sense of healthy competition.
Tom make the students and public science minded.
To stimulate active participation and initiative among
students in the learning process.

6. ACTIVITIES OF THE SCIENCE CLUB
Holding science exhibition and fairs
Celebrating birth days of eminent scientists.
Participating in science fairs
Developing school gardens.
Displaying science news.
Marinating aquarium.
Organizing lectures, debates, seminars, symposium etc.
Celebrating science days.
Maintaining bulletin board.
Publishing science magazines
Collecting specimens and arranged then in a museum etc.

7. ECOCLUBS /NATURECLUBS
Eco -clubs / Nature clubs : Eco club is an organization of individuals
who have love for nature , interest in conversation and development
of natural resources , a sense of dedication and activity participation
in various activities related to nature.
Eco –club are sometimes called Nature Clubs.
Eco –Club aims to,
Develop , maintain , and enhance pupil interest in environment.
Make environmental studies meaningful and enjoyable.
Supplement knowledge obtained through classroom teaching .

8. SCIENCE FAIR
Science fair in purely an educative activity carried out in a systematic manner entirely
for the advancement of science .
it is and excellent device for acquainting parents as well as other people in the
community .
With science related work being done in schools.
Science fairs provide opportunity for detecting and cultivating scientific talents.
PURPOSES AND VALUES OF SCIENCE FAIR
To stimulate and encourage interest in science.
To focus attention on science experiences in school.
To provide situations for scientific hobbies.
To provide opportunity for displaying of talents through exhibits.

Separate criteria are to be developed for judging each item say.
