  7. 8. <ul><li>“ Don’t stop …Pagla Ghora” </li></ul><ul><li>The original play is in the graveyard outside a village. Four men from different strata of the society have come together to do the last rites of a dead, orphan, young woman. </li></ul><ul><li>In our scenario, 3 friends (symbolically dressed as 3 jokers) from different companies meet at one place, after receiving termination letter from their respective companies. </li></ul>
  8. 9. <ul><li>They tease each other, crack crude jokes, and gossip about their previous companies. </li></ul><ul><li>But as the night wears on, things start to change. </li></ul><ul><li>The joker’s facades begin to crack. </li></ul><ul><li>They realize their loss. Anguish and regret overwhelm them. </li></ul><ul><li>They analyze where they went wrong. </li></ul><ul><li>In the end, all of them cannot avoid facing a perennial question, why and why does a man tread warily, hold back, shield himself, put a ‘Joker’s mask? </li></ul><ul><li>Why doesn’t he let his mind let loose like a wild horse? </li></ul>
  9. 10. An adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Othello” <ul><li>In Shakespeare's play “Othello” Roderigo had bribed Eaago to spy on Othello </li></ul><ul><li>Roderigo wished to take Othello's girlfriend, Desdemona as his own. </li></ul>
  10. 11. <ul><ul><li>Today’s Roderigo, employee of a multi-national, bribes Eaago, secretary of the department to spy on the strongest contender of the ‘Best Employee’ award. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Roderigo wishes to take the successful strategies of this employee to get the award himself. </li></ul></ul>
  11. 12. <ul><ul><li>The plot develops amidst dedication, commitment, betrayal …eventually both the employees losing the award. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Othello had lost faith on his most dear project. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>It’s human nature to doubt and destroy. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Trust in ones abilities can never go wrong. </li></ul></ul>

  13. 14. <ul><ul><li>“ Andha Yug” </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>A profound meditation on the politics of violence and aggressive selfhood . </li></ul></ul>
  14. 15. The moral burden of the play is that every act of violence inevitably debases society as a whole. The essential tension between the nightmare of self-enchantment, which the story of the Kauravas represents, and the ever-present possibility of finding a way out of the cycle of revenge into a redemptive ethicality
