I am a doctoral student of Applied Linguistics. On the side, I am a local grassroots activist for the environment, animal rights and human rights. I serve on the board for Girls Education International and co-founded Project Wezesha - both of which serve to increase educational opportunities for children in developing and underserved regions of the world.
