The Fan College of Football Knowledge Your chance to show what you know about football (and oh by the way) Win a Brand New Toyota Tundra
How it worked: Beginning August 27 th , game week for the OSU home opener, 1460 The Fan drove listeners to 1460thefan.com to register for their chance to win the grand prize by clicking on the Toyota Tundra logo. This sent the listener to the Tundra micro-site, where the listener registered their information for the database and got all the details on the truck and the contest. The listener took a timed quiz to test their football knowledge, and once completed, they were registered for their chance to win the Toyota Tundra.
<ul><li>Listeners were made aware of the contest through these means: </li></ul><ul><li>A minimum of 300 Live reads during Spielman on Sports (12p-2pm) and The Big Show (4p-7pm) Scripts for these reads changed during the season but highlighted the contest and mentioned where the truck was on game day. Length of reads is :30 seconds </li></ul><ul><li>A minimum of 420 recorded promos throughout the week (airing in all dayparts) These will be 10’s and 15’s and will be voiced by the voice of NFL Films, Earl Mann. They highlighted the contest and drove people to the web site to register. </li></ul><ul><li>Web site banners and Fan Word featuring the contest. These directed contestants to click to the microsite where they could register to win. E-mail blasts to Fan Club members (approx 25,000) that highlighted the Toyota giveaway </li></ul><ul><li>On campus display of the Tundra. Fans were given an OSU Football schedule card with the Tundra giveaway info included. </li></ul><ul><li>In store display. A poster was provided for each dealership along with the schedule cards. </li></ul>

The Big Show will be LIVE from 4-7pm at Bethel Road Buffalo Wild Wings on November 13th. The final Tundra giveaway contest will be held immediately afterwards. There is still time to sign up! On Site Info Eddie George’s Grill 27 located on Campus. The Fan brought in ESPN host Colin Cowherd to Columbus before the Wisconsin Game to broadcast his national show live. Additionally, The Fan was at Eddie Georges on home game Thursdays for ESPN Thursday Night Football. The Tundra was prominently parked it prominently at the entrance with Toyota banners hung. OSU/Toyota schedule cards were handed out. Fans in line at 3:00AM Tundra parked at entrance Huge crowd!! Colin Cowherd works the crowd
On Site Info The Fan appeared every week at Kroger Stores and the Tundra was prominent. The Fan and the Tundra also appeared at Wendell’s Alumni Grill on Campus
The Giveaway The Final giveaway was on Tuesday November 13 th at BW3’s. Three finalists competed in a Jeopardy like contest to see who knew their football! Winner Thomas Hatch
