  • YouTube web site
  • Enter something to search for. YouTube offers suggestions.
  • I&apos;ve entered “Ched Myers” and pressed search. Hear are the results. Click on the first video.
  • The video starts playing.
  • Scrolling down shows where you can add comments if you log in.
  • Selecting another video on the right
  • Click on the username to see other videos uploaded by this user.
  • Scrolling down shows subscribers to this user.
  • To sign in click on “Sign In&apos;
  • And enter your Google Account login and password.
  • If you have not signed into YouTube before you will need to create a YouTube account to be linked to your Google Account.
  • Fill out the information and click “I accept”
  • Sign in again with your Google Account details
  • Done. Go to to account preferences to change some options.
  • Click “privacy”
  • Unclick the advertising box
  • Save Changes
  • It is possible for your YouTube activity to be listed on Facebook, Twitter and Google Reader. But I won&apos;t cover how to do that here.
  • Go back to the video from earlier
  • Now that we have an account and are logged in we can “Like” this video.
  • To see videos you have uploaded (none yet) click on your username at the top right and then click on “My Videos” in the box that expands.
  • You have no videos. To upload one click as shown.
  • Videos from YouTube often appear on Facebook and can be played without leaving the Facebook web site.
  • To put a video on Facebook, first find the video on YouTube and copy the address.
  • Then go to Facebook and click on the “link” icon.
  • Paste in the address
  • Type a message and click on “Share”
  • You have shared a YouTube video on Facebook.
