  • Good morning.

  • We are going to talk about media today. Old media, new media and crossmedia.

  • Picture: Peter van Teeseling (sign at Kröller-Müller Museum)

  • First I will introduce myself.

  • My name is Peter and I am a free-lance crossmedia specialist.

  • I have been in the media-industry since 1990 and have moved from print through web upto and into mobile.

  • I am also chairman of an organization called CMBO. That is ‘the’ organization for media-producing companies in Holland.

  • I just touched on 40, married and a proud father of 3 boys.

  • But if you’ve done your homework, some of you might already know that.

  • So we are going to talk about crossmedia.

  • We will try to gain some insight, discover trends and have a look at some examples.

  • Who knows the term?

  • What does it mean?

  • So is there a clear and uncontested definition?

  • No there is not.

  • Let’s have a look at what it means.
