  2. 2. A part of the city named Panam Nagar came into prominence in the later part of 19th an early 20th century. The place is reputed to have been built over the remains of an old city. It can be said that Panam is the only successor of the glorious Sonargaon. HISTORY

  5. 5. There are 56 buildings lined on ether side of the central street running from west to east with a north word curve. Buildings were secular in nature, predominantly residential houses as opposed to religious structures that characterized the architecture of the early phase. CHARACTERITICS

PHASE 02 Accessibility to the site. The siteshould be smoothly accessible by the people of inland and overseas. PHASE -03

Phase -05 Re-habilitations of the people who are living in the side- Phase -06 i) The ground floor of all the houses are taken over by the authority. ii) The 1st floors of the houses in use may left for the inhabitants.

Chapter -07 i) New use like shop house, museum, food court, ii) restaurant cam be proposed in suitable houses. iii) Different kind of activities can be added like- different type of museum like - dance museum - folk art museum - pottery museum - Art gallery - Indigo museum - cultural center can be added. People according to their own interest can choose the activity.
