The Middle 50% tends to… <ul><li>… be low income & first generation </li></ul><ul><li>… be disproportionally students of color </li></ul><ul><li>… lack parental support (few helicopter parents) </li></ul><ul><li>… lack fundamental college info (FAFSA, deadlines, college-going vocabulary) </li></ul><ul><li>… underutilize “Opt-In” post-HS resources </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Career centers, college fairs, parent nights, lunchroom tables, etc. </li></ul></ul>
