  2. 2. 1. CHUNKING Chunk down the information, do not write in paragraphs, do not write in whole sentences, write in points.
  3. 3. 2. RE-WORD Keep saying to yourself, how can I say this in a shorter way, how can I put this in my own words.
  4. 4. 3. LIMIT POINTS Maximum 7 bullet points per heading.
  5. 5. 4. TABLES Uselists and tables to give structure to your notes.
  6. 6. 5. KEY WORDS Pull out the key words in each point.
  7. 7. 6. COLOUR Usecolour strategically and systematically to highlight the key points.
  8. 8. 7. REVISIT Come back to your notes at a later date with a fresh eye and see if you can make them shorter, more organised and more condensed. Show someone else to get feedback about your notes.
