The essay will show understanding of summary conventions as well as quoting, paraphrasing, summarizing, and documentation. </li></ul><ul><li>The rest of this unit will provide activities to help you fulfill this person's request. </li></ul>

UNIT GOALS <ul><li>Understand and apply basic principles of critical thinking and technical proficiency in the development of exposition. </li></ul><ul><li>Begin to develop the ability to research and write a documented paper. </li></ul><ul><li>Show understanding of summary conventions as well as quoting, paraphrasing, and documentation. </li></ul>
