  8. 8. CORRUPTION IN PAKISTAN • Corruption is a widespread in Pakistan • It has effected every structure, public as well as private sector • Every organ of a state is a victim of the corruption

SCALES OF CORRUPTION There are three scales of corruption • Petty Corruption: ▫ Corruption at a small scale between a few persons (small gifts to receive undue favor) • Grand Corruption: ▫ At the highest level, flexible policies it effects the govt. (Political, legal and economic system) • Systemic Corruption: ▫ It occurs due to weaknesses of processes within an organization (Result: organized crime)
