I chose thisad for esteem because acar says a lot about aperson. When a personbuys a car they thinkabout how people willperceive them. So luxurycars automatically give offthis view of higher socialstatus and success.
  5. 5. Self-ActualizationSelf-Actualization This adsatisfies self-actualizationand esteem needs withDIPIKA and TISSOTwatches. The strategy ofthis ad is, if you own anTISSOT watch you are in aclass of your own, and youcan take on a new lifestyle.Dipika satisfies the self-actualization need. Thewatch satisfies esteemneeds because TISSOTwatches are expensiveand come with prestige.
  6. 6. Maslows theory is over simplified and is based on human needs only. There is lack of direct cause and effect relationship between need and behavior. The theory has to refer to other motivating factors like expectations, experience and perception.Needs of all employees are not uniform. Many are satisfied only with physiological needs and security of employment. Maslows theory is widely accepted but there is little empirical evidence to support it. It is largely tentative and untested. Maslows writings are more philosophical than scientific.
