Tools : Worked on Cadence Virtuoso schematic and Layout editor. Work assigned was on schematic design and create deck for each and run through the spectre tool. Beta ratio, Stage ratio, CT cells designs and Flop cells design. Worked on Abstract and Encounter tools for Tech lef and core lef generation. Mini Project 1 – Performance enhancement of Wireless Local Area Network Software: riverbed Opnet 17.5 Description: Unlike wired networks that can provide bandwidth, the bandwidth of wireless local area networks (WLANs) is rather limited, Error prone and carrier sensing is difficult. Thus for improving the performance we considered two approaches i.e. 1) Tuning the physical layer parameters and 2) Tuning of WLAN parameters. 2. Mini Project 2 – Road slope detection and automatic torque adjustment in Automobiles Hardware: Arduino atMega 2560 and Gyroscope sensor Description: This project was to explore the concept of gyroscope in road slope detection and torque adjustment. While vehicle going uphill has the tendency to roll over so this project was to overcome the problem using gyroscopes and accelerometer. 3. Mini Project 3 – Wireless Control Quadcopter with Camera Software – Mission Planner Description: The project was to build a quadcopter with homemade frame which was to be stable during takeoff and camera attached to it. The test was successful and can record the live visualization of the environment. 4. Course Project – Design of Barrel Shifter using multiplexers Hardware: Xilinx 14.2 Description: This project is to design and implement alternatives for barrel shifters for data manipulations that perform the functions such as rotate right, rotate left, shift right and shift left. 5. Course Project 2 – Red Color Object Tracking Software – MATLAB Description: This project tracks all the red color objects and draws a bounding box around them. This works on the difference between frames concept. Every frame in the video is returned as an RGB image on which we do image processing. B.E Projects: 6.
