SUPPORTING PROJECTS • WirelessInfo, as one of the partners of the Short supply chain knowledge and innovation network project (SKIN) (www.shortfoodchain.eu), has completed first testing data from the Czech Republic - 18 farms that sell products from the farm yard or have some added value – and asked other partners to join.   4. 4. PROJECT IDEA The goal of solution was to use SPOI database - Smart POI data set (http://sdi4apps.eu/spoi) for promoting selling from the farm. The goal is to select relevant data in SPOI database and add also additional information from other available databases of primary producers offering their product from the farm. There was expectation of two different Apps: • Find your producer • Publish my information INSPIRE Conference, Kehl, 5th Sept 2017
  5. 5. INPUT DATA • A database was created in the form of an excel spreadsheet where partners could add data – farm name, coordinates, description, contacts, products and other activities.   6. 6. USED SOFTWARE/TOOLS • Using principle of the SPOI (http://sdi4apps.eu/spoi) a sample application was created by West Bohemian University in the form of a map where the data inserted into a table is visualized on the map. INSPIRE Conference, Kehl, 5th Sept 2017

  9. 9. NEW DATASETS • We extended current SPOI database (http://sdi4apps.eu/spoi), data will be available as part of this database. • They will be included into existing database and are available as RDF data INSPIRE Conference, Kehl, 5th Sept 2017

  12. 12. ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIETAL AND ECONOMICAL CHALLENGES Project: • Is focused on improving solution of small farmers • Supports shortage of supply chain • Supports sustainable agriculture • Supports employment in rural regions INSPIRE Conference, Kehl, 5th Sept 2017
  13. 13. REUSE • Solution will be a part of SKIN project outputs (http://shortfoodchain.eu) • We plan re-use results also for DataBio project (http://databio.eu) • We are planning to extended data around Europe and also outside of Europe INSPIRE Conference, Kehl, 5th Sept 2017
