  8. 8. conclusion– McLuhan loved the old literary stance of cliché-probe– He tried to accept the new tribal archetype- cliché– To identify his artist we needed a vantage point– McLuhans artist is someone who tries to reverse artifacts into their opposites by being ironic– Who uses artifacts/services to their maximum capacity until they break
