Getting started with Arigato PRO for WordPress

  1. 1. Getting Started With BroadFast PRO AutoResponder (WordPress Version) Welcome. This quick getting started guide will get you up and running in 5 minutes. Please activate the plugin and go to the next slide.
  2. 2. Set Your Sender's Email Address ● Once activated the plugin, go to the Settings page in the newly appeared menu:
  3. 3. Setting Your Sender's Email Address ● On the top of this page you'll see the following: ● It defaults to the email address form your main WordPress settings page. Feel free to change it, and change “WordPress” to a name that you want to appear in the “sender” field of the sent emails.
  4. 4. Set Up The Cron Job and Sending Limits ● Don't worry! Setting up cron job is easy: a) Click on the “cron job” link to see the exact command from the Help page:
  5. 5. Set Up The Cron Job and Sending Limits b) Add the cron job in your hosting control panel (to run for example once per hour). There is an excellent guide how to do it here. c) If you are not sure what to do, email us at info@calendarscripts.info and we'll help you to set it up!

  7. 7. Publish Your Subscribe Form ● Go to your “Mailing Lists” page ● At the time of plugin activation one mailing list is automatically created for you. (You can of course add more lists or copy your BFT Lite Subsribers). ● Click on the “WordPress-friendly form code” link:
  8. 8. Publish Your Subscribe Form ● Click on “For Visual Mode” and copy the form code (it contains also any custom fields you have created):
  9. 9. Publish Your Subscribe Form Step 2 ● Go to create a new Post and place your form code in it. Feel free to edit fonts, colors, everything:
  10. 10. Now You Are Ready To Accept Subscribers: ● Here is how the form looks when published in the post or page:
  11. 11. Sending Newsletter ● To send a newsletter to some of your mailing lists go to “Newsletters” link in the menu and create the message contents:
  12. 12. Sending Newsletter Step 2 ● Select the mailing list and hit on “Create and Send”. The cron job will do the sending accordingly to your sending limits.
  13. 13. Create Welcome Message ● Maybe you want to greet your subscribers immediately when you sign up. Here's how to do it: a) Create autoresponder campaign and assign it to the mailing list:
  14. 14. Create Welcome Message – Step 2 b) Go to your “Autoresponder Campaigns” and click on “Manage” in “Email messages” column. On the next page click to create a new message and create it:
  15. 15. Create Welcome Message - Step 3 ● Then set it to be sent “0” days after user registration and this will make it go out immediately when your user subscribers or confirms their email (depending on whether you have selected to require double opt-in confirmation)
