  5. 5. Why people don´t use repositories? 1. Poor computer skills We still have many teachers, who are afraid of computers and they avoid to use them.

Quality problems </li></ul><ul><li>I have noticed that a lot of the works which are published in different repositories have been done during some computer training. Purpose then is more to try different possibilities of repository then to make a good LO. </li></ul>

By educating </li></ul><ul><li>It is important to train the teachers and show them how to use repositories, demonstrate the different possibilities. Educational technologist at school could be the person who informs and trains the teachers. That person knows the teachers, their abilities and with right attitude can make a miracle in teachers training. </li></ul>
  10. 10. How to make people to use repositories? <ul><li>2. Virtual Communities of Practice </li></ul><ul><li>If the people of same profession would use same repository, it could be helpful in solving the repository selection problem. </li></ul>

E-educational materials design competitions financed by Tiger Leap Foundation are quite popular. They help to introduce new software and repositories, too </li></ul>
