The Role Of India in Olympics <ul><li>Dhyanchand was a well known Hockey player. </li></ul><ul><li>He took part in 1928, 1932 and 1936 Olympic games. </li></ul><ul><li>India won gold medals in all the Olympic matches in which he took part. </li></ul><ul><li>He was awarded Padmabhushan by Indian government. </li></ul><ul><li>Recently Abhinav bindra won a gold medal in 100 mts. Rifle shooting at Beijing 2008. </li></ul><ul><li>It is the first individual gold medal for India. </li></ul><ul><li>Vijender and Sushil won two bronze medals for India in Beijing Olympics. </li></ul>Dhyan chand
