  • Intelligent can be defined as ‘ the ability to learn and understand, to solve problem and to make decisions’
  • The robot is designed to perform domestic work like cooking, cleaning etc. It needs to move different places according to its requirements. It needs to apply the common sense like human. Robots can change its decision to work smoothly if it is necessary. But other intelligent system like production line quality control, Intelligent clinical audit can not change its decision in the new environment The robot which is developed by the Honda company is much more intelligent than that of other robot like ‘aibo’ which is developed by the Sony Company. Though these two creations are closely mimic the real world entities, they are developed to the different point of view, that is, robot shows human behavior and ‘aibo’ shows the behavior of a actual dog. As we know in the present world respect, human is more intelligent than dog. As the robot looks like human, many robot developers sometimes called their creation ‘Humanoids’ rather than robots.
