My Preliminary Task Evalutation

2. PRELIMINARY TASK
In this preliminary task we have written a narrative, a script (to
accompany the narrative), pitched our ideas to our group,
filmed our scripts and edited them to a finished product using
Final Cut Pro.

4. EQUIPMENT:
The equipment we used included:
A camera, A tripod, A dolly (to hold the tripod), headphones, a boom pole
and a microphone. We learnt how to use them safely and carefully to
avoid damage. The camera was used to film our script, the tripod was
used to hold the camera in a stable position. The dolly was used the
move the tripod with the camera on in order to get better shots/angles.
The headphones were used so we could hear what we were
recording, the microphone was used to capture the audio of our film
and the boom pole was used to position the microphone in an
appropriate position.

6. IMPROVEMENTS!:
Of course there were many improvements that could have been made to
our preliminary task. Things such as:
More research into our couple even if it’s not required just so we get a
better idea about them.
We could have set up our equipment much quicker as it took nearly 30
minutes for us to set it up.
We could have had a much better idea on how we were going to film our
script as the process took a very long time and everything was a bit
messy and had a lack of structure.
