OAI-PMH
The Open Archives Initiative
Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) is a
low-barrier mechanism for
repository interoperability
Data Providers are repositories that
expose structured metadata via OAI-PMH.
Service Providers then make OAI-PMH service requests to
harvest that metadata.
OAI-PMH is a set of six verbs or services that are invoked within HTTP

(*) The Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH) provides an application-independent
interoperability framework based on metadata harvesting.
1. Description of reports is encoded at each agency
within their own repository.
2. EUnetHTA meta repository synchronizes regularly to
LBI and KCE repositories and harvest their meta-
data.
3. Description of the reports is automatically imported
and made searchable at the EUnetHTA meta-
repository
