  1. 1. WEST END INITIATIVE! THE HIGH POINT COMMUNITY AGAINST VIOLENCE STREET LEVEL DRUG DEALING ERADICATION! THE GOAL To improve the quality of life for all residents of the West End area of High Point by employing a comprehensive, collaborative, data driven, strategic approach to ending street level drug sales. THE PLAN To identify and vigorously prosecute in State and Federal Court, drug dealers in the West End area. To notify those identified it is time to stop dealing. To offer assistance to those who want to change their lifestyle and stop dealing drugs. To respond aggressively to those who continue street dealing. To repeat this process until the West End is free of drug dealing. THE MESSAGE The West End initiative is not a strategy to forgive offenders for drug sales committed in the past. It is a promise to vigorously prosecute repeat offenders who continue to engage in street level drug sales. It is an offer by the community to assist those who want to stop dealing drugs and change their lifestyles by delivering resources available in High Point. ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING RESOURCES G.E.D/School, Job Training, Employing, Parenting, Day Care, Alcohol or Drug Treatment, Counseling, Anger Management, Medical Checkups, Mentoring, Tutoring, Housing, Religion, Transporation, Help for Family, Tattoo Removal. If you continue to sell drugs in the West End area of High Point, illegally carry guns, commit violent acts, or associate with a group that engages in drug sales you will have to deal with the High Point Community Against Violence.
