Harmful effects of heat or fire may be caused by heat accumulation, heat radiation, hot components or equipment; failure of electrical equipment such as protective devices, switchgear, thermostats, temperature limiters, seals of cable penetrations and wiring systems; overcurrent; insulation faults, arcs, sparks and high temperature particles or harmonic currents.
