Maekok River Village Resort<br />Accommodation in on site dorms<br />On site facilities including climbing walls, high ropes courses and archery range, all supervised by experienced staff<br />All catering on site<br />Down time facilities on site - soft drinks bar, pool tables, table tennis etc. - for exclusive use by team<br />Completely self-contained<br />

  6. 6. Jungle/Cultural Trek<br />Half day route ending at WatTha Ton<br />Visit to a LahuHill tribe on route<br />Visit to a Shan school; opportunity to practice traditional handicrafts with local children<br />
  7. 7. Survival Skills<br />Wilderness camping<br />Canoeing down a river to camp on the beach <br />Bivouac construction<br />Jungle cookery and tool making<br />All supervised by MRVR guides and World Challenge Group Leader<br />
  8. 8. Return to Chiang MaiOvernight at Guest House<br />Elephant camp visit with elephant trekking on route<br />Visit Umbrella Factory and Elephant Dung Factory<br />Time in the markets to pick up your favorite souvenirs. <br />

Settle into activity center.<br />Team building games.<br /> <br />Day 3 Saturday Mar. 5<br />River raft building<br />Thai cooking classes<br />High Ropes course games.<br /> <br />Day 4 Sunday Mar. 6 <br />Trek to remote hill tribe villages<br />Visit to Thai school to meet students<br />Evening team games.<br /> <br />Day 5 Monday Mar. 7<br />Survival skill day! Canoeing, cooking<br />Overnight on beach in tents<br /> Day 6 Tuesday Mar. 8<br />Break camp in the morning<br />At the center, participate in climbing wall<br />and archery competitions<br />Low beam confidence course with center staff<br /> <br />Day 7 Wednesday Mar. 9<br />Transfer back to Chiang Mai<br />Elephant camp prior to lunch<br />Visit umbrella factory and elephant dung factory<br />Evening spent shopping Chiang Mai <br />Overnight at Eagle II Guest House<br /> <br />Day 8 Thursday Mar. 10 <br />Travel to Chiang Mai airport for flight home to<br />Dubai via Bangkok.<br />

Thailand - Safety First<br />Your child’s safety is paramount!<br />Chaperones will have their phones with them at all times.<br />Comprehensive medical kits will be on hand at all times.<br />In-country agents and providers available for support<br />Students will not be allowed to bring mobile phones on this trip. <br />Teachers will contact or provide information for parents throughout the trip. <br />In case of an emergence, DAA will contact you immediately!<br />
