  2. 2. LOCATION Rio de Janeiro is located on the Atlantic coast of the southeastern region of Brazil. It has a privileged geographical position, with wide beaches and breathtaking mountains make the city a spectacular setting. Known as the "marvelous city" Rio de Janeiro is a perfect combination of pleasant climate, beautiful views, loving people, music and happiness.
  3. 3. HISTORY The 1st of January 1502, Portuguese navigators sighted the Bay of Guanabara. Believing it was the mouth of a large river, called Rio de Janeiro (River of January).
  4. 4. CARNIBAL OF SAMBA For over 30 years, the Parade of Samba Schools was made ​ spontaneously. Today, it is synonymous with Rio and Carnival takes place officially in February, when schools and carnival devote their energy to the show created and produced throughout the year. Outside the official calendar, the Parade of Samba Schools begins in November. During that month, you can see the "technical tests" carried out in the Sambadrome.

So the rise puts you in a strategic location from where the view reaches to the most interesting points of the city.
  9. 9. COPACABANA BEACH Copacabana Beach, Rio de Janeiro, internationally famous, is a place of tourist and hostel concentration.Copacab ana is also a popular neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro and one of those with the highest population density in the world.
