Assessment toolsare utilized at our campus and in our district to help determine the technology tools thatshould be used to increase student achievement. The outcome of this needsassessment process and recommended solutions are included within this technologyaction plan. o The following tools will be used as assessments to evaluate and develop our campus technology action plan:  The campus will utilize the Texas STaR Chart to identify items that are needed to improve our campus.  Begin Speak Up technology surveys at our campus and give them to teachers, administrators, and some groups of students.  Surveys are compared to the last three years Texas Campus STaR Chart data to determine trends and areas of concern.  The district Long Range Technology Plan will be reviewed to make sure that our campus is aligned with the goals of the district.  Assessments from department chairs will be conducted throughout the year. By training teachers on the various digital tools and how to use them, we can increase the use of these tools in the classroom to help enhance learning in the classroom for students who have become accustomed to growing up in a digital age. Students may wish to use this action plan as one of your school improvement projects for your Electronic Portfolio. You may also use the Week 3 and Week 4 assignments as campus supervised hours for your internship logs.
