We think of Christmas and Easter as the time of miracles. However, there are several distinct miracles surrounding Jesus’ death which confirm that he truly was God’s Son, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Matthew also makes it clear at the end of this passage that women had a key role in his ministry and demonstrated great bravery at the foot of the cross.
