  10. 10. You see, you have not received a spirit that returns you to slavery, so you have nothing to fear.
  11. 11. The Spirit you have received adopts you and welcomes you into God’s own family. That’s why we call out to Him, “Abba! Father!”
  12. 12. as we would address a loving daddy. Through that prayer, God’s Spirit confirms in our spirits that we are His children. (Romans 8:14-16 – The Voice)
  13. 13. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ.
  14. 14. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. (Ephesians 1:5 – New Living Translation)
  15. 15. God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children. And because we are his children,
  16. 16. God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child.
  17. 17. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir. (Galatians 4:5-7 – New Living Translation)
  18. 18. KEY WORD: RELATED
  19. 19. We are children of the Father
  20. 20. He gave the right and the power to become children of God to those who received Him.
  21. 21. He gave this to those who put their trust in His name. (John 1:12 – New Life Version)
  22. 22. Consider the kind of extravagant love the Father has lavished on us — He calls us children of God!
  23. 23. It’s true; we are His beloved children. (1 John 3:1 – Voice)
  24. 24. Now you are no longer strangers to God and foreigners to heaven, but you are members of God’s very own family . . .

  30. 30. and am not worthy of being called your son —’ “But his father said to the slaves, ‘Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him.
  31. 31. And a jeweled ring for his finger; and shoes! And kill the calf we have in the fattening pen. We must celebrate with a feast,
  32. 32. for this son of mine was dead and has returned to life. He was lost and is found.’ So the party began. (Luke 15:20-24 – Living Bible)
