  2. 2. A is for Antlers <ul><li>Deers have antlers for their “weapon” </li></ul><ul><li>The antlers lock together so they cant stab each other. </li></ul>
  3. 3. B is for Birth <ul><li>A doe usually gives birth to one or two fawns a year. </li></ul>
  4. 4. C is for Chopping Block <ul><li>The upper jaw has no front teeth, it has a chopping block for the sharp bottom teeth. </li></ul>
  5. 5. D is for Doe <ul><li>A doe is a female deer. </li></ul>
  6. 6. E is for Elk <ul><li>Elk is another name for deer. </li></ul>
  7. 7. F is for Fawn <ul><li>A fawn is a baby deer. </li></ul><ul><li>It looks like Bambi. </li></ul>
  8. 8. G is for Graceful Body <ul><li>Their body is built for living in a dangerous world. </li></ul>
  9. 9. H is for Habitat <ul><li>A deer lives in a forest like area, with trees and fruit. </li></ul>

  20. 20. V is for Velvet <ul><li>Antlers are covered with short hairs called velvet. </li></ul>
  21. 21. W is for Wapiti <ul><li>Large north American deer closely related to the old world red deer. </li></ul><ul><li>It is the largest of the deer family, besides moose. </li></ul>
