  1. 1. Croydon Youth classComputer lesson.Waltzing Matilda<br />1. Attach a word.doc to an email and send<br />
  2. 2. Choose a picture for your document.<br />Open your web browser (internet explorer or Firefox) and go to google<br />Write ‘Waltzing Matilda’ in the search bar and click ‘enter’<br />Click on images (top left) and choose a picture to copy.<br />
  3. 3. Other pictures<br />- you could also try writing in google:<br />Swag<br />Swagman<br />Sheep<br />Policeman on horseback<br />Billabong<br />Camp fire<br />Artist’s impression<br />Australian outback<br />Historical house<br />Find the picture you want.<br />
  4. 4. <ul><li>Open word.doc.</li></ul>Start, programs, microsoft office 07<br />Click twice on Word.doc<br /><ul><li>Copy the picture onto the word.doc
  5. 5. In your word.doc write:</li></ul> the heading: Waltzing Matilda<br /><ul><li>Highlight this and change the size and font</li></ul>Waltzing Matilda<br />
  6. 6. Go to google again and type in ‘Youth Class Blog’, enter and click on this. <br />Go to ‘Waltzing Matilda song” and highlight the words: right click ‘copy’.<br />
  7. 7. Go to your word.doc again and right click ‘paste’ this onto your page.<br />It should have:<br /><ul><li>A heading
  8. 8. A picture
  9. 9. The text

  11. 11. You can save this to your desktop or to your student H: drive</li></li></ul><li>Now you need log in to your email account.<br /><ul><li>Compose email (create)
  12. 12. To: my email address
  13. 13. Subject: Waltzing Matilda word.doc
  14. 14. Go to ‘attach a file’
  15. 15. Select where you saved the word document and click on it to open. </li></ul>This should be loading LOADING.<br />
  16. 16. You can see there is an attachment in this email<br />Write: <br />Dear Jane,<br />Here is my attached word.doc<br />From your name.<br />Then click SEND and you have finished attaching a word.doc in an email.<br />Now you can sing the song!!<br />
