BID Alumni Kickoff Meeting THE WHY <ul><li>We are here because we believe that God has a purpose for every man’s life. </li></ul><ul><li>The BID Alumni is a tool for BID men to have a vehicle to operate in their God given purpose. </li></ul><ul><li>Part of all men’s purpose is to lead. Lead at home, lead at work and lead in Church </li></ul><ul><li>Leadership begins at being a servant. Matthew 23:11; Luke 22:26 </li></ul><ul><li>Servanthood is the linchpin of male leadership in the Kingdom. </li></ul>
  5. 5. BID Alumni Kickoff Meeting : THE WHAT <ul><li>So what is required of a BID man? What should he be doing to operate in his purpose? He should serve. When God called men in the Bible into their destiny they we operating from the place of a servant. </li></ul><ul><li>Pastor’s heart with respect to men are that we be servant leaders. </li></ul><ul><li>Service for a BID man is in the BID foundational Scripture – 2 Timothy 2:2 </li></ul>

BID Alumni Kickoff Meeting : THE HOW <ul><li>A BID man is called to teach others also , the things he has learned in BID and from Pastor. </li></ul><ul><li>So how can he teach others also: </li></ul><ul><li>1. First and foremost, he should be looking for men who need to be discipled. – Acts 8:26-40, </li></ul><ul><li>2. He will be doing the work of the Kingdom. – Acts 8:5-7 </li></ul>

You must be lead by the Spirit – Acts 8: 26-29 </li></ul><ul><li>2. A man who wants to be discipled is seeking – Acts 8: 30 </li></ul><ul><li>3. He must be teachable – Acts 8:31, 35 </li></ul><ul><li>How do you Recommend Someone for BID or another ministry if they aren’t ready for BID yet? </li></ul>

  15. 15. <ul><li>Altar Counselors </li></ul><ul><li>Every BID Alumni should take Continued Witness Training (CWT); A requirement for being an Altar Counselor. </li></ul><ul><li>Bro.
