Pandora was created with the objective to maintenance of systems and services by technical staff with strong experience in a IT sector. With the passage of time and input from customers and users Pandora FMS became a vital tool to support the business of many companies of all kinds of industries. 6

How do Pandora the monitoring ? Agents running on servers used to collect information directly from them. You can use remote polling Networking: SNMP, TCP, ICMP ... and more complex tests: transactional Web, DNS verification, mail, etc ... Centralizes all the information in a database. Enables users to view that information and manage the tool from a web interface we called Console. The Pandora server is the one who receives information from the agents, or who makes remote network testing. 14
