  • Giorgio Armani was born in Piacenza, Italy, on July 11, 1934. He served in the military before entering the fashion world.
  • Armani came up with a soft-shouldered suit silhouette that is obvious through many of his collections.
  • Armani has received many awards during his career including the award for Best International Designer.
  • I really like how he uses form fitting styles with the tubular silhouette.
  • In both the Spring and Fall collections Armani uses a lot of different layers.
  • Armani has a very simple but classic style when designing his clothes.
  • His clothing is unique because he doesn’t really follow tradition and he is not someone you would call trendy.
  • Here is a very good example of his use of layers.
  • Armani is someone who continues to produce “classics”.
