This document compares photos of the same subject taken with a HTC smartphone and a Canon DSLR camera. While the smartphone captures 8 million pixels and the DSLR captures 12 million pixels, the DSLR produces higher quality images because it has a larger sensor made of better quality glass, resulting in less noise than the smartphone photo.
