  3. 3.  The objective of the present administration in Oyo State is to provide a broad based education for every child, which would be nurtured on a globally relevant curriculum, using the best available facilities. (i.e.Qualified personnel and adequate infrastructures) to drive initiative, creativity and to prepare the Oyo State child to excel in a highly competitive world. In line with the Millennium Development Goals and ‘Education for All’, a good vision for education would be carved out to ensure that students in Oyo State are given the best opportunity, which will enable them excel and compete globally.   11. 11.  A four-year (2011-2015) Oyo State Education Sector Strategic Plan [SESP] is being proposed through the involvement of all the major stakeholders with whom the various challenges were identified and solutions proffered, without losing focus of the state’s vision and mission for education. Between 2011-2015, the Operational Plan would include activities and interventions which would be integrated in the execution of the education Plan of the State.
